Page Thirty Two:    Reassembly Begins

The next day, the car seems to glow with its new paint job.

Now the meticulous reassembly process begins. One of the first things to go in place is the new wiring harness.

The suspension is another priority, so the car can be rolled around. Here we see the left front shock absorber, rebuilt and painted in the factory copper color.

From the wheel well, we see the suspension pieces ready for installation of the spring, kingpins, and wheel hub.

The fully complete left front suspension assembly, with brake hose, shoes and drum, and splined hub for the wheel.

This image inside the same fender shows the wiring run to the headlight bucket and turn signal socket.
