The MGA Restoration Project
Page Twelve:   Back to Work

Winter comes and the summer rush at Brooklands is over, so restoration work
can resume. Owner Matt Graham applies chemical paint stripper to the car.
|

As the paint stripper takes effect, first the top coat of pseudo-Old English
Beige bubbles up, followed by the underlying coat of burgundy.
The bottom-most layer, the original factory-applied Glacier Blue proves a
little more resilient.
|

Spraying and scraping, Matt slowly removes the layers of paint.
|

MG's current roadster, the MGTF, is shown in this factory publicity photo
with the top uncharacteristically up.
